WWII and the Things You Didn’t Know: The Poetry of WWII

Inspired heavily by last year’s The Poetry of The Civil War, we will be presenting both published and amateur selections of poetry and songs. Dramatic readings that highlight important events during WWII will be selected and a narrator will moderate these readings, poetry and songs before a live audience. Select pieces will be recited throughout. This program will showcase the profound voices of soldiers and citizens amidst the turmoil of a world at war, and promises to deliver a stunning, inspiring and lasting impression on all who attend!
