Carl Abbott designed homes are among the most highly awarded in Florida and the Caribbean. He is known for creating a world within a world for seamless living inside and out. Join Carl as he discusses the lineage of Florida’s unique architectural legacy and his own design process.
Carl grew up in Florida, attended Yale, worked and taught in Europe, the Caribbean and the Pacific islands, before returning to Florida. Abbott’s architecture is recognized nationally – he is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and recipient of the Medal of Honor for Design in Florida. Carl feels strongly that Architecture and Nature shape our lives.
