From coping to surviving to living and thriving; in each session, educational information will be provided along with sharing of personal stories from the keynote speaker and/or other guests who will address the topic at hand. Time for a question and answer period will be provided.

Founded in 1982, Southeastern Guide Dogs employs the latest in canine development and behavior research to create and nurture partnerships between visually impaired individuals and extraordinary guide dogs. Come learn about the programs and services provided by Southeastern Guide Dogs, with a special presentation by Michael Jernigan, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and graduate of the guide dog program. Hear Michael’s inspiring story about his recovery after the tragic loss of his sight.
