Join the Boca Grande Camera Club as we explore the ever-changing world of photography! New members are welcomed throughout the camera club year. Our membership is a dynamic one spanning the spectrum from beginners and casual photographers to serious hobbyists and professional photographers who meet in classroom settings, workshops, and on field trips to learn, improve, collaborate, and to display their images and work. The regular Tuesday meetings will feature speakers covering subjects related to cameras, cellphone cameras, camera composition (including landscapes, people, pets, families, in both outdoor and indoor situations). We also delve in light and exposure, lenses, creative ideas during workshops and field trips. Programs can also cover photo editing software as well as storage and file management concerns scheduled in response to members’ input. Some of the field trips will be led by one of our many talented members and there will be a special workshop to help members prepare for the club’s photography show. This season we have scheduled ten Tuesday morning meetings for the 2023-2024 club year. We will (hopefully) have a Zoom link for each meeting and are looking at uploading a tape of each meeting as well.
