Join the Barrier Island Parks Society for this fascinating and educational Megladon Shark Program in partnership with Florida State Parks! Cost is only $5 and so worth the experience! First, you’ll learn incredible facts about this extinct creature that lived approximately 2.6 million years ago and may possibly be the largest shark to have ever inhabited the earth! A Florida State Park Ranger will share a wealth of information about local sharks and then take you on a beach hunt for real shark’s teeth. Afterwards, you’ll make your own shark’s tooth necklace!
