If you or a loved one has fallen or is afraid of falling, you are not alone. The Center for Disease Control estimates that one in four adults, age 65 and older fall each year but research has shown that many falls can be reduced. The first step in fall prevention is to understand what may put you or a loved one at risk. In this session, attendees will learn how to identify simple steps that can make a big difference in reducing the risk of falling, preventing fall-related injuries and improving mobility.
