Martin Walker is a senior fellow of the Global Business Policy Council, a private think tank for CEOs of major corporations, and a senior scholar of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. Martin will discuss how the retirement of Angela Merkel, along with Brexit and the economic weakness of Italy and Spain, suggests that French President Emmanuel Macron is likely to become the dominant political figure in Europe – if he can achieve re-election in the 2022 Presidential elections. Can he do so and what would that mean for Europe, Nato and the West?
Sponsors will enjoy preferred seating in the auditorium and a private party afterward at the sponsor reception.
