RSVP for BIPS’ Calusa Cast Netting Educational Program!

Join us and learn to cast net and fish as the Calusa Indians did in the very area they lived for over 1,000 years! Step back in time and learn from a Florida State Park Ranger who will teach you the history and art of cast netting. Then you’ll try it yourself at the beach on the Gulf of Mexico at Gasparilla Island State Park!

Program cost is $5 per person and $3 per vehicle parking entrance fee. All fees support BIPS’ Educational Programs and Florida State Parks — Gasparilla, Cayo Costa, Don Pedro and Stump Pass.
