Please join BIPS for the annual Marine Pollution Forum. This free community program is focused on raising awareness, and promoting action to address water pollution and its impacts on our environment.
This forum will feature guest speakers from Coastal and Heartland National Estuary Partnership (CHNEP), Office of Resilience & Coastal Protection, FL DEP, and Save The Manatee Club. Together, we’ll explore valuable insights into the causes and consequences of water pollution, specifically post Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Our esteemed speakers will provide the latest research and data regarding the health of our estuaries and marine ecosystems, as well as innovative solutions to safeguard our waterways, and help us gain a deeper understanding into ways individuals and communities can work together to reduce pollution, and protect our precious aquatic resources for future generations. The program will include an open Q&A following speaker presentations.
