Please join us for the 2023 annual Marine Pollution Forum, co-hosted by Barrier Island Parks Society, BIPS and Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership, CHNEP. This is a free community educational program. Together, we’ll explore local impacts of Marine Pollution resulting from Hurricane Ian, presented by leading research experts representing CHNEP, Ocean Circulation Lab, College of Marine Science, USF, and UF/IFAS Extension Charlotte County, Florida Sea Grant
Nicole Iadevaia
Nicole Iadevaia currently serves as the Director of Research & Restoration of the Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership, CHNEP. This role oversees CHNEP’s work on research and restoration project management as well as public engagement to protect water resources and habitat in Central and Southwest Florida and serves as the staff liaison to the CHNEP Technical and Citizens Advisory Committees. She has a background in research science as well as environmental communication and policy. She was previously a principal investigator for the Florida Wildlife Research Institute – Fisheries Independent Monitoring and smalltooth sawfish research programs. Her experience in water quality includes project management, data collection and analysis for several surface water quality projects,- including stormwater and seagrass monitoring for the EPA NPDES program.
