This series addresses the experience of illness, loss, trauma, survivorship, and the inspiration that can follow. From coping to surviving to living and thriving; in each session, educational information will be provided along with sharing of personal stories from the keynote speaker and/or other guests who will address the topic at hand. Time for a question and answer period will be provided.

The combat veterans’ experience complicates care and treatment during serious illness or at the end of their lives. This session will address the symptoms, triggers and treatment of delayed onset PTSD, and the special needs of veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
